We’re one of the nation’s leading health and community service providers, offering a broad range of services for almost 50 years. Our services include Community Health, Mental Health, NDIS, Counselling, Support for Older Australians and Family Services.
We are looking for an _experienced Support Worker_ to step up to the role of **Lead: Direct Support Service Self Administering Team (SAT),** bringing diverse experience to the team by offering mentorship and supervision to their team over 10 hours per fortnight. This will be in addition to continuing to work in their role supporting people with a disability.
The SAT Lead will utilise their experience, knowledge and skills to provide support and Guidance and mentorship to their team, facilitate a range of supervision options (group and/or individual) with members of their (SAT).

**Qualifications**
You will be key to ensuring communication with the Direct Support Service Leadership Team and their (SAT) members (Support Workers) is effective and timely.
The aim of the position is to have leadership positions closer to the work that is directly undertaken with Customers, to build employment pathways for Support Workers and to create an efficient and effective support workforce that operates within a team environment.
You will be required to;
- Offer regular mentorship and guidance to SAT members through individual & group supervision
- Provide support to your SAT members and spend time to complete quality and compliance work as part of the Direct Support Services Leadership Team.
- Provide initial support and advice, then escalate any issues or service interruptions that may impact on Customer satisfaction, wellbeing, safety or health to relevant EACH Line Manager.
- Meet KPI’s related to ensuring staff are adequately supervised, meet competency requirements for their position and understand escalation processes for issues and incidents.
- Drive service success and Customer satisfaction through the implementation of effective leadership that enables Support Workers to feel safe, connected and supported.
- Work within the guidelines of the EACH NDIS Capability Framework to build a self-administering team with a range of skill sets and competencies that can provide services to a diverse Customer group.
- Complete administrative tasks including customer goals plans and risk assessments.
**Additional Information** Who you’ll be working with**
SAT Leads will report directly to the Coordinator: NDIS Direct Support Workforce, who will provide leadership, support and training as required to the SAT Leads. You will support a team of approximately 18-25 Support Workers.
