In this newly created leadership role based at our office in Coburg North, you will be working closely with the Chief Security Officer (CSO) and colleagues from across the wider Industrial & Enterprise Solutions team in a converged security environment. Utilise your strong people management skills and extensive cyber operations and response experience to mentor, shape and grow our driven and passionate cyber security team.

**The Role**

As our new Cyber Security Operations Manager you will provide strategic input, leadership & direction to cyber security operations and mature our risk-based approach to protecting Visy networks and operations from known or potential cyber threats.

Further to that but not limited to, your key responsibilities will be:

- Lead and oversee cyber security incident response activities - through both outsourced and in-house capabilities
- Coordinate all monitoring, threat-hunt, analysis and response activities undertaken by the Cyber Security team
- Work with the CSO and business stakeholders to optimise outcomes from a number of strategic uplift activities
- Mature and uplift operational processes to ensure the safe and secure operation of Visy information and technology systems, including logging, monitoring and detection
- Manage operational budgets and forecasts to deliver continual improvements and technology currency across Visy cyber security systems

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Extensive experience within the cyber security industry, with a demonstrated history of successful incident response management of complex environments
- Strong experience managing distributed teams performing incident response
- Comprehensive understanding and capability across a range of modern detection, response and analytical toolsets
- Experience in leading security maturity uplift in line with industry leading frameworks, including operational technology.
- Proven experience in guiding team members who have arrange of experience levels and supporting their professional development and growth
- You are a great communicator, enabling you to form strong relationships with stakeholders on all levels
