Our client is an established, market leading and growing lighting manufacturer and distributor and they currently have an opening for a
**Sales Representative **to join their team in their head office in Sydney NSW.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will manage a designated territory by assisting in future development, implementations of systems and procedures, and generating sales growth. Helping to create & maintain a profitable Territory above base expectations, and striving to achieve certain obtainable growth targets. Managing Field Reps in the area with various tasks and ensuring that the representation is planned efficiently with efficient calls to maximise service levels and sales growth for the area.

The role will involve driving to see clients and will need someone with strong communication skills and interpersonal skill. Clients you will be conversing with face to face include electricians, store managers, store wholesalers etc.

**The Duties**:

- Manage all territory sales enquiries
- Be an ambassador for the brand
- Develop and manage the implementation of internal sales strategies
- Evaluate and report on relevant dynamics and changes within the lighting market
- Assist in preparing quotations, spreadsheets, lighting product selections, and/or anything that may assist in the success of a commercial, residential or industrial lighting tender
- Engage in phone sales or other marketing strategies to identify growth opportunities
- Manage the forecast of offered products within the territory so that the brands’ requirements for consistent supply of stock and the introduction of new products meets market demands
- Assist with client/supplier meetings if required
- Assisting in New Product Development with Sales Director if required
- Preparation of Weekly Call Report including comments, feedback, ideas and possible areas for improvement
- Monitoring of Field Rep Call Report and sending these reports to Sales Director, along with other key staff that may request this
- Liaise with management via regular meetings on progress of upcoming movements, procedures, and strategies
- Create displays for clients if required, or assist in developing displays
- Monitoring the continual performance of the Field Rep(s)
- Generate sales growth
- Relevant Qualifications / Training
- Minimum 3 years Management / Sales experience
- Ideally having a lighting background
- Excellent writing and presentation skills, highly articulate with an excellent command of words and fluency with language
- Proficient using Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast paced team environment
- Team player who goes above and beyond
- Reliable with strong work morale
