**About the role**

***
A key member of our Project team, the Traffic Manager will play an important role and take total ownership of traffic management planning in accordance with legislation, company-specific policies and procedures, and relevant Standards.- You will have solid attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a minimum of five years of experience in working on large/complex projects.- Develop traffic management plans in accordance with legislation, company policies, procedures and relevant Standards
- Ensure all plans are accurate and completed efficiently and on time every time
- Successfully managed and coordinated traffic flow and parking for a major civil project, resulting in no reported accidents or incidents during the project duration
- Consult with all relevant stakeholders including clients, on road staff, main roads authorities, local councils, emergency services and buses
- Negotiated and obtained all necessary approvals from local councils, authorities, and stakeholders for the implementation of the traffic management plan for the project.
- Conduct risk and hazard identification during development, clearly documenting controls in all plans
- Implement plans and communicate to the team operational requirements

**About you**
- Relevant degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering or a related field
- Traffic Management Designer (TMD) Accreditation is highly desirable
- Current Driver’s Licence and White Card
- Demonstrated experience in traffic management on civil construction projects
- Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, guidelines, and regulations related to traffic management
- Familiarity with traffic management software and technology
- Ability to work collaboratively with others and deliver results in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
