**About Us**

AUGANIC AUSTRALIA produces finest quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil from the planting to bottling in Green Gold Farm in Gingin, Western Australia. The Green Gold Farm is located in an agriculture region 90 kilometres north of Perth, West Australia. The area is well suited to agriculture with a mild climate and very good water source. The farm is 741 acres with 50,000 olives trees. To provide adequate space of growth, 250 olives trees are planted per 2.5 acre. Each of trees is fully fertilized without contending the supply of nutrition.

AUGANIC Extra Virgin Olive Oil is collected from only the first pressing of our fruit. In order to offer the freshest olive oil possible, we transport the olives from the farm to our processing plant as soon after picking as possible. Thus, Fruit will be processed within 4 hours of picking by our own machine.

**Your Role**

As the Farm Manager, you will play a key role in assisting in efficiently managing the farming operation.
- Preparing plans and schedules for planting and harvesting and ensuring staff understand expectation.
- Producing crops to achieve volume, quality, and cost objectives.
- Ensuring fertilizers, pesticides, and other supplies are regularly restocked.
- Directing and overseeing general farming activities, including visiting the different divisions to inspect crops and also perform tests on soil and water.
- Scheduling repairs, maintenance, and replacement of equipment and machinery.
- Maintaining production and other farm records including the estimated operating costs, ordering of farm inputs and marketing of produce
- Preparing or assisting with preparation of annual forecasts, budgets and other business plans
- Recruiting, supervising and ensuring the ongoing training of farm staff
- Acting as the point of contact between the owner, other staff, and clients

**About You**:
As an effective leader and good communicator, you will ensure your team is trained and skilled in their areas and be committed to a culture of safety.

With competent computer skills and financial literacy, it is important you can address the following criteria:

- Minimum 3 years' experience in Western Australian regional farm management.
- Knowledge of best practices across row cropping (preferred) or high input crops.
- Proven experience in crop planning and a proactive approach to modern farming techniques
- Ability to mentor the crew members with farming practices and OHS
- Bachelor qualification(s) (preferred)
