About the RACGP
The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the voice of general practitioners (GPs) in our growing cities and throughout rural and remote Australia. For more than 60 years, we’ve supported the backbone of Australia’s health system by setting the standards for education and practice and advocating for better health and wellbeing for all Australians.
We foster the future of general practice through our profession-led, community-based training model for the Australian General Practice Training Program and other training pathways. About you
As our P&C Advisor, you will have a curiosity and drive to broaden your ER/IR experience and enjoy the variety that an Advisor role brings with providing advice across a broad range of generalist HR functions. You’ll be a trusted advisor to the business and can work across all levels of the organisation. You’ll also play a key role in ensuring the provision of timely and high quality HR services to the business and supports the P&C Coordinators to achieve this.
**To Thrive in this role you’ll**:
be comfortable supporting the P&C Advisory Lead through effective and timely case management of employee queries, employee relations and industrial relations matters
Be a team player and provide support guidance to the PCT Coordinators in the delivery of timely and high quality HR services to the business.
Have a proven track record of reviewing and identifying improvements and implementing changes to processes, policies and P&CT collateral
Demonstrated experience in a generalist HR role and comfortable providing advice and guiding Managers through a variety of generalist human resources matters.
About the opportunity
Reporting to the People & Capability Advisory Lead, you’ll assist the People Support team in providing efficient, timely, accurate customer-oriented service/advice to management and all employees across the entire organisation.
**In addition, you’ll**:
Work closely with the HR Business Partners and support the P&C Advisory Lead through effective and timely case management of employee queries, employee relations and industrial relations matters
Advise line managers on industrial relations, EBA interpretation, policy interpretation, employment relations and other generalist human resources matters
Provide support guidance to the PCT Coordinators in the delivery of timely and high quality HR services to the business.
Contribute and lead process improvement and service improvement.
