**About the Role**

We have an exciting opportunity to join our supportive team as a Fluids Assistant at Weary Dunlop Retirement Village** **in High Care Unit. This is a Maximum-Term Part-Time position to cover Parental Leave until 05 April 2024 working** **Saturday to Tuesday 0900 - 1330

This role is crucial in promoting and assisting with all aspects of nutritional food and fluid intake of our residents. In this role you will:

- Ensure all residents receive a jug of fresh water and clean glass each morning to maintain their hydration
- Prepare smoothies and/or food supplement drinks (e.g., Ensure) when required and maintain a continuous supply in the dining room fridge
- Assist with all aspects of dining room preparation for morning tea / lunch to create a 5 star dining experience
- Maintaining a record of any fluids and food given to residents, as directed by the Registered Nurse and raising any concerns as they arise
