Why This Role Matters
The Salvation Army is one of Australia’s largest providers of alcohol and other drug services. We offer a range of services including Harm Reduction and Primary Health Services as well as a range of treatment types (including residential treatment centres, community-based support programs, counselling, and withdrawal management services).
About The Role
We are seeking a values-driven Team Leader who will lead an effective and high functioning team of multi-disciplinary staff to deliver client-centred AOD services. To ensure service delivery targets and organisational standards are achieved and funding body requirements are met. Provide support and guidance for case management staff, which includes community and outreach services, assessment and referral, withdrawal management unit, to deliver a comprehensive client-focused service.
You Will Successfully
- Oversee day to day operations of service delivery including:
- Implementation of service delivery processes and tools
- Quality service delivery meets the needs of client groups; for example, participant access, intake & assessment and admissions management/service delivery planning, and progress and outcomes for clients
- Effective rostering and work allocation
- Provide clinical expertise to workers to resolve complex case management issues
You Will Have
- Tertiary qualifications within Community Services, Social Work or similar discipline
- Solid level of experience (minimum 2+ years) in the implementation of case management, groups, and systems for AOD/or complex needs clients.
- Experience working in collaboration with other organisations to develop and tailor programs to meet clients’ needs.
- Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience.
- Drivers Licence
This is a full-time, permanent position located in Red Hill, QLD. Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Level 6 Award
