**About This Opportunity**

We are on the hunt for a highly motivated and experienced
**Payroll and Finance Specialist** to join our Support team. This role supports both our CoTalent employees, our clients and our growing contractor book.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for processing and managing all finance and accounting functions end to end. In addition, you will be called upon to support our team with any contractor issues that may arise.

**This role will have you working 24hrs across 3-5 days, with fully flexible hours and WFH options after onboarding.** We have a vibrant, fun, and social office and you’ll always be invited along to our Friday afternoon drinks, team lunches and team building activities.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage end-to-end **payroll functions** accurately across **employee payroll**, **commission payments, terminations, and tax compliance**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date **financial records**, including **accounts payable** and **accounts receivable**:

- Manage contractor and CoTalent employee **onboarding** from a payroll perspective
- Conduct **account reconciliations** and investigate any discrepancies
- Prepare and submit **financial statements** and **reports**

**About You**
- Degree or qualification in accounting
- **At least 2 years’ experience** in finance and accounting
- **1 year of commercial payroll experience** within a small business
- **Bookkeeping experience**:

- Understanding of **BAS** and **payroll tax**:

- Advanced **excel** skills
