As we embark on the next stage of our ambitious growth plan, we are currently recruiting for an Insurance Administrator to join our Loss Prevention Department at our Head Office in Preston.
**About the role**
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Insurance Administrator. As an Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth and efficient operations of our insurance department. You will be responsible for handling administrative tasks, coordinating with various stakeholders, and assisting in the overall management of insurance-related processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen interest in the insurance industry.
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support to the insurance manager, including managing correspondence and maintaining files and records.
- Assist in the preparation and processing of insurance claims, and other related documentation such as CCTV footage
- Coordinate with insurance brokers, assessors, and internal clients to gather required information and documentation for payment of insurance claims.
- Handle incoming inquiries and requests from internal clients, brokers, assessors, staff and providing timely and accurate responses or redirecting them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain and update insurance databases and systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is available for reporting and analysis.
- Support the insurance manager in preparing reports, presentations, and other materials as required.
- Monitor insurance policies and deadlines, ensuring timely renewals and payments.
- Assist in organising meetings, conferences, and training sessions and preparing necessary materials. Collaborate with other departments within the company, such as finance, legal, and HR, to ensure smooth coordination and effective communication.
**About you**
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferred though not essential
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with colleagues and internal stakeholders.
- Knowledge of insurance policies, procedures, and regulations is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
