- Provide support to the Commission in the discharge of its statutory functions and powers. Contribute to the provision of land use planning information and advice to the Minister, Government agencies, planning authorities and other key stakeholders.The Department of Justice supports reasonable adjustment requests in any stage of the assessment process to remove barriers and facilitate full participation in all aspects of employment for applicants with disability. **Hours per fortnight**:
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.

**Duties**:

- Provide a high level of professional planning advice and support to the Commission and its delegates as required.
- Prepare recommendations to the Commission regarding its statutory land use decision making and other functions.
- Prepare a range of assessment documents, as required.
- Liaise with planning authorities and the community about the Commission’s functions, and resolve issues as they arise.

**Desirable Requirements**:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- A current motor vehicle driver’s licence.
- Eligibility for membership of the Planning Institute of Australia.
