Apprentice Fitter

**Position Requirement**

An Electrical/Mechanical Apprentice Fitter will gain the technical skills for electrical/mechanical services work relating to jobs in the workshop and on-site as the business requires, learning from industry experienced personnel.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Training within Service/Repair and refurbishment of Electrical motors and Mechanical machinery which are predominantly based in NSW.
- Training in Retrofitting of existing equipment with VSD’s, PLC’s and electrical switchgear.
- Training in Mechanical Fitting and Machining works Or Electrical works (motor, pump & gear box service) for service jobs, based in our workshop.
- Training in motor rewinding
- Strong understanding, focus and commitment on Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality requirements.
- Maintaining the QA requirements and maintain the highest level of workmanship quality.

**Suitable Qualifications**:

- Higher School Certificate (HSC) qualification.
- Australian Driver’s License.

**Requirements**:

- High degree of initiative and motivation.
- Technical Aptitude
- Proven attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Good organisational skills.
- Strong communication skills.

- Good organisational skills
- An eye for detail
- Good communicator
- Good analytical and fiscal skills.
