Our client is a small Sydney based company with a team of highly experienced, skilled and passionate staff who specialise in supplying and installing the best lift products on the market. They specialise in the design, installation, maintenance, and modernisation of lifts, serving a diverse range of clients across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors. As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lift Technician to join our team.

**Responsibilities**:
Install, maintain, and repair various types of lifts, including passenger lifts, freight lifts, and service lifts.

Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the safe and efficient operation of lifts.

Diagnose and troubleshoot lift malfunctions and breakdowns, promptly resolving any technical issues.

Perform necessary repairs and component replacements in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Conduct comprehensive testing and commissioning of newly installed lifts, ensuring compliance with specifications and quality standards.

Collaborate with clients, contractors, and colleagues to address specific lift requirements and resolve technical queries.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, service reports, and spare parts inventory.

Stay updated on the latest industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to lift technology.

Adhere to occupational health and safety guidelines, promoting a safe working environment.

**Requirements**:
Prior experience in lift installation, maintenance, or repair work.

Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or a related field.

Sound knowledge of lift systems, components, and operating principles.

Familiarity with lift control systems, electrical wiring, and mechanical components.

Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.

Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.

Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients and colleagues.

Commitment to workplace safety and knowledge of relevant safety regulations.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client sites when required.
