**About the Role**:
**A typical day in this role will see you**:
- Undertake and participate in designated project and organisational change activities.
- Resolve problems and assist in the development and implementation of nominated projects, initiatives, policies, processes and systems for effective and efficient administration of departmental services.
- Assist in coordinating the development and implementation of plans, policies and procedures and in managing processes.
- Closely monitor timeframes and report any potential issues.
- Provide clear and regular reporting to senior officers and other staff within the division on project progress or other agreed key performance indicators to assist in monitoring and decision making.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
- Attend meetings with departmental officers to discuss, evaluate and revise plans, systems and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following key attributes:
- Sound knowledge and understanding, or the ability to acquire sound knowledge and understanding, of the policies, processes and protocols relating to projects, the unit and the division.
- Proven ability to prioritise, schedule and perform work to meet deadlines, commitments and client service standards.
- Ability to participate in a work team and undertake a variety of project activities.
- Proven ability to interpret and review operational policies, practices and procedures and to develop processes and reporting systems.
- Demonstrated communication skills, including the ability liaise and consult with staff at all levels, and with external agencies.
When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
