As one of our highly valued Lead Educators, you’ll support and guide children’s learning and development, so they become curious, capable and confident lifelong learners.

**C&K Stretton Community Kindergarten** is a community based not-for-profit Kindergarten. No two days are the same at C&K Stretton Community Kindergarten. Our teaching team tailor each day’s learning taking into account the interests of the children in the group. The spacious environment at our kindy is thoughtfully planned and well resourced. There is a focus on music, drama, literature and visual arts and time spent discovering the natural environment outdoors.

Community spirit is important to us at C&K Stretton Community Kindergarten. We foster our strong ties to the local community by encouraging parent involvement in the daily operations of the kindergarten. We often hold and partake in community events and love connecting with local businesses and groups around us.

Our team at Stretton Kindergarten is made up of passionate Educators who are excited to engage our wonderfully diverse community. We love encouraging our children to share their family’s culture with us and our beautiful natural spaces allow us to make every day an adventure.

Using your skills, ideas and passion for education, you’ll help shape the future of children in our care by collaborating with your team to create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment for children, their families and our wider community.

We run two programs at our **C&K Stretton Kindergarten**: 'The Core Kindy Program' and 'The Extended Kindy Program.' For more information on both, please visit the C&K website. The position available is for the Extended Kindergarten program, which operates from 2 pm to 6 pm.

**In this position, you'll enjoy the stability of a permanent part-time position, with your dedicated shift running from 1 pm to 6 pm every Monday through Friday.**

To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have or be willing to work towards:

- A minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or willingness to commence studying that qualification.
- First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
- Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
- A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
