**Our Hotel**

Our venue is a successful, family owned, modern and vibrant hotel located in Alexandra, regional Victoria, with the great feel of a country pub done well. We provide table service and high quality overall service and offerings, whilst still being a welcoming pub for all.

The venue comprises an a la carte restaurant, bar with verandah and street seating, drive through bottle shop, customer garden, and hotel accommodation (11 rooms) and balcony.

Our food offering is extremely popular, and we have a fun and busy bar. We showcase local and premium produce, spirits, beer, wines and other products. Live music in the bar Saturday nights.

We are a non-gaming venue.

**The Role**

The focus of this role is to lead a team to continue to deliver excellence, particularly in food and beverage service. The Venue has built a great reputation in town by the GM & the owners over the years and the plan is to continue to evolve and exceed guest expectations.

A large part of the role will be running the Front of House Team of supervisors and casuals, especially during busy lunch and dinner service. You must be able to run a front of house team to deliver an outstanding experience for our customers.

The role will be hands on, dealing directly with customers and managing our staff.

The F&B Manager will report to the General Manager.

**Requirements**:
The position requires a detailed understanding of food and beverage pub operations with a twist. We are seeking a professional manager with good people skills, and a passion for customer service.

You will be expected to work 40 to 45 hours per week.

You must have:

- RSA
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role or extensive experience in junior management.
- Knowledge of food & beverage services, products and operations.
- A la carte service experience
- The ability to multi-task and assist in very busy operations while maintaining hotel standards.
- Recent National Police clearance or be willing to obtain
- Current Australian work rights (sponsorship may be available after a period).
- Strong references essential
