- Data acquisition on the surface and underground environments.
- Implement and champion the company HSEC&Q policies and system.
- Maintain field equipment.
- Assist with field survey planning.
- Mobilise and demobilise equipment.
- Work with hardware development teams to develop and maintain testing procedures for gravity equipment.
- Regular interstate travel.

**Requirements**:
Your skills:

- No formal qualifications necessary, but you have prior experience in surveying.
- The ability to promptly solve tough problems, to handle pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Strong communications skills, both written and verbal, and IT fluency.
- Comfortable working alone or with a partner / small team.
- Flexible with your routine
- you are happy to adapt to a changing schedule and environment.

**Benefits**

The nuts and bolts:
This role is a full-time 1-year contract based in Sydney, Australia. You will be required to travel to our HQ in Melbourne, and for short to month-long trips across Australia. You must be legally able to work and live in Australia.
- Extensive travel may be required (days long, up to one month).
- Must be fully licensed to drive a motor vehicle in Australia with a clean driving record and criminal history.
- Already have or willing to obtain certifications (advanced first aid, operating a 4WD, operating off-terrain vehicles, etc.).
- You can meet the physical demands of the field position including standing, bending, walking and driving for extended periods of time.
- You are willing to work irregular hours depending on environmental conditions and survey situation.
