We are excited to announce two open positions on the Mount Gravatt Community Centre Board, and we invite you to consider becoming a vital part of our organisation.

**About Mount Gravatt Community Centre**:
Our organisation provides a range of essential services to the community, including but not limited to:

- Aged care in-_home_ services
- Neighbourhood Centre activities and programs
- Emergency Relief, including food parcels and financial support
- Employment and training programs
- Social Isolation and Loneliness

We are looking for board members who can demonstrate skills and experience in these areas and possess a strong understanding of the quality and compliance requirements. Business, Community and Government experience is highly valued.

**Objective: Ensure sound financial management and reporting.**

**Responsibilities**:

- All of the general board member requirements
- Review financial reports provided by the organisation accountant prior to board meetings
- Present financial reports at board meetings.
- Review annual budgets with CEO and Accountant
- Review audited financial reports with CEO and Accountant
- Sign off on any documents required by government departments
- Support the CEO and Accountant in financial matters

**Requirements**:

- Resume type document with experience and skills
- National Police Check Required
- Must never been disqualified _from_ managing cooperations
- Insolvency Check will be undertaken as required by the Aged Care Commission
