Upholsterer/ Fabric Cutter

Avo Studio is a Melbourne based upholstery business. We make custom made

contemporary furniture for commercial and residential spaces. Our passion for perfection

and commitment to delivering excellent craftsmanship make us one of the most

recommended upholstery companies in Melbourne.

We are looking for an experienced upholsterer to join our friendly team on a full-time basis.

The role consists of the following:

- Work ethic is a must
- Self organised
- Cutting fabric and pattern making
- Read shop drawings and implement to upholstery
- Foam preparation and upholstery finishes for both contemporary and old design

furniture
- Attention to detail is a must
- Fit and have driver’s license
- Experience of installing upholstered furniture is beneficial

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- upholstery: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 23/09/2024
