Are you passionate about automotive mechanics and eager to kickstart your career in the automotive industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Light Vehicle Apprenticeship at our reputable service center. As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience and expert training while contributing to the maintenance and repair of light vehicles, trucks, and plant machinery, ensuring their operational safety.

**About this opportunity**

You will complete a Certificate III Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology over 48 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with your Host Employer, Northern Beaches Council

As a Light Vehicle Apprentice, you will be involved in a variety of tasks on a day-to-day basis, including:

- Service and repair light vehicles, trucks, and plant machinery to ensure operational safety.
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.
- Coordinate with the supervisor for part requirements and stock management.
- Collaborate with the team to maximize performance and job satisfaction.
- Utilize hand tools and workshop equipment, including floor jacks and power tools.
- Handle workshop consumables such as oils, lubricants, and cleaning products.
