Consulting Arborist

ArborCraft Tree Services is a company based in SE Melbourne and employs approx. 15 staff. The company has multiple divisions and is looking for two staff to add to the consultancy division. It works in in the some of the most prestigious gardens in Victoria like the Royal Botanic Gardens. It also has a large commercial base comprising of almost 80% commercial work. The company has just acquired a contract that would see the successful applicant assessing trees across the state at various schools.

About the role:
We are looking for a Qualified Level 5 to 8 Arborist to add to the growing consultancy division. We would also be open to a consultant in training.

This role would be based in Clayton South.

Whilst training and support would be provided they must possess the ability to work autonomously.

Full time salaried role with company car, phone and laptop also RDO’s.

There is also the possibility of a management role for the right person.

Salary depends on experience.

Minimum requirements for the role:

- Cert 5 in Arboriculture or higher
- Proven industry experience as a consultant
- Full drivers license
- Ability to work in Australia.
- Ability to obtain a working with children’s check
- Ability to obtain a police check
- Sound written and communication skills
- Sound computer skills

Desirable skills
- Experience with Fulcrum, ARC GIS and Microsoft access would be an advantage.
- Experience with assessing large bodies of trees

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
