Are you a qualified Fire Technician with Vehicle Suppression Systems experience looking for your next exciting role? Or perhaps you are a qualified in a mechanical trade looking for a step up and to learn some new skills? Chubb Fire & Security, an industry leader, is seeking a Vehicle Fire Suppression (PEFS) Technician to join our Brisbane team.

This position involves Installation and servicing Fire Protection Systems and Equipment to Chubb Fire & Security’s agreed standard of quality and excellence, whilst exceeding customer service expectations. This role will predominantly service our clients in SE Queensland but there will be opportunities to work further afield supporting our operations in Regional QLD and PNG.

Ideally you will have experience in the Fire Protection Industry servicing and installing Pre-Engineered Fire Suppression Systems & we encourage those with other trade backgrounds to also apply.

**Key responsibilities of the role**:

- Servicing Fire Protection Systems and equipment to Chubb Fire Safety standards of quality and delivery excellence whilst exceeding customer service expectations at every available opportunity.
- Identify, Install and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment
- Survey customer machines and recommend fire protection and safety systems and equipment

**To be successful in **t**he role, you will be required to have**:

- Qualification as a licensed fire technician or have the drive and willingness to learn
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in an unsupervised environment
- Professional, proactive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and develop skills as required
- A solid knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to PEFS Systems fire protection equipment
- Current Driver’s license
- Willingness to travel and spend some time away from home
