**About the Role**

The Venue Officer undertakes operational requirements for facility bookings and events at HBF Arena including the set up and pack down of various sporting equipment for court bookings including basketball, netball, and indoor soccer. Duties also include checking the daily booking schedule and ensuring function rooms are set up and packed away correctly. As well as ensuring the facilities are well maintained to meet the presentation needs of our clients and that we deliver safe and quality customer experiences.

This permanent, part-time opportunity offers minimum 19 hours per week, with the flexibility to work extra hours as required. Shifts are based on a rotating roster that can include nights and weekends depending on event needs, after hours and weekends attract shift loading rates.

Whilst the position will be based at HBF Arena in Joondalup, mobility may be required between the portfolio of facilities.

**Employment Screening**

To be eligible for employment with VenuesWest you must have the following at the time of commencement:

- Right to Work in Australia for the duration of the employment contract
- National Police Clearance
- Current WA Drivers Licence (C Class minimum)
- Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or equivalent) and Provide CPR (HLTAID001 or equivalent); or capacity to complete within 3 months of commencement.
- WorkSafe ‘License to Perform High Risk Work’ for Forklift (FL); or capacity to complete within 3 months of commencement.
- WA Construction Industry White Card (Work Safely in the Construction Industry); or capacity to complete within 1 month of commencement
- Work Safely at Heights (RIIWHS204D); or capacity to complete within 3 months of commencement.

**Future Appointments**
