**About the Role**

As a pivotal member of the Strategic Communications team, you’ll devise media and PR strategies and campaigns to support performance programming and events.

You will be responsible for:

- Developing and implementing media campaigns
- Positioning and profiling Arts Centre Melbourne’s brand at a local, national and international level
- Effectively building and managing relationships with media across diverse channels
- Activating the media strategy and plans for Arts Centre Melbourne events, programs, and projects
- Demonstrating and contributing to a culture of high performance, collaboration, and cross-team engagement

**Full-time ongoing position. Salary band 3.3 $89,265 p.a. plus superannuation.**

**Your Skills and Experience**
- A tertiary qualification in Media/Communications and minimum 4-years demonstrated experience in media, communications, or PR roles.
- Proven experience with developing and implementing media and communications strategies for campaigns, projects, and issues.
- Experience in actively contributing to a high performance, high-capacity team.
- Experience supporting internal and external strategic relationships internally and externally.
- A high level of operating autonomy is required, and the ability to make tactical decisions within the scope of the assignment.

**About the Team**

The Strategic Communications team is responsible for external and internal communications across the organisation, narrative and storytelling, strategic and campaign-based media, brand integrity, leadership positioning, reputation and issues management, change communications, internal culture, publications and stakeholder engagement.
