**About the Role**:
The Manager |Home and Living Support is required to provide a high level of excellent customer service to our clients and their families with a focus on managing an end-to-end therapeutic care service, coordination of supports, community access and psychosocial services.

The Manager |Home and Living Support will have outstanding interpersonal skills to manage organisational issues, negotiate individual service agreements and outcomes and develop and motivate staff.

This role will be required to understand and implement staff management and personnel practices and build reliable alliances with families in addition to managing and influencing change. The Manager |Home and Living Support will ensure a high level of quality, achievements of standards, legislative requirements, service provisions, staffing and financial management within area of responsibility.

The Manager |Home and Living Support will be required to work a minimum of 80% in administrative activities and 20% with direct client care.

**In this Role you will be responsible for**:

- Provide sound leadership, coaching and direction to direct reports in operational, performance, administrative and disability industry matters, role modelling of Minda’s Values aligned with Minda’s Purpose
- Responsible for implementation of systems and processes that place the client at the centre of service delivery exercising maximum choice and control
- Ensure the implementation of an individualized approach to support planning across multiple life domains using contemporary and appropriate tools by direct reports
- Ensure individuals are empowered to meet and (exceed) the highest possible quality of life outcome related targets and goals
- Conduct regular Client file reviews and audits to ensure compliance and any health concerns are addressed in a prompt and appropriate manner escalating any relevant concerns to your Senior Manager, Client Services
- Work alongside Client Service Unit to support with Onboarding of clients within your cluster.
- Successful completion of Bachelor of Applied Science Disability Studies, or equivalent and or Registered Nurse Certificate with Disability Training or relevant industry and management experience
- Commitment to undertake formal Management studies
- Demonstrated experience in providing leadership, coaching and training to achieve an effective team of employees within a human services organisation
- Experience with working with people with disabilities and a range of complex support needs
- Experience in using best practice and Person-Centered Approaches, to achieve successful outcomes for the individuals we support
- Demonstrated ability to effectively utilise available resources and manage budgets
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate, facilitate develop and implement assessment and other plans and programs as necessary
- Demonstrated ability to liaise and network with other personnel, professionals, individuals, families, advocated and significant others

- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or Valid DHS Disability Screening)
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current Driver's Licence
- Unrestricted Working Rights
