Our Federal Government client is seeking
**APS4 Family Liaison Officer** who can provide community based information, support and assistance to individual members, partners, families and client-sponsored community groups.

**About the role**:

- Help client families engage with their communities.
- Develop strong community links between the wider Australian Community, client families and the client organisation.
- Perform straightforward tasks that support the delivery of procedural, operational, administrative and business support activities across the client.
- Respond to straightforward operational, procedural, administrative and business support enquiries and maintain accurate records and files in accordance with relevant client work practices, procedures and policies.
- Build and sustain relationships with team members, stakeholders and actively participate in team work and group activities.
- Listen to internal and external stakeholders and respond under limited direction to change in stakeholder expectations to achieve outcomes.
- Collect and consolidate data and information and provide assistance in the preparation of written submissions, reports and other correspondence for internal and external stakeholders.
- Select the appropriate course of action to progress work to meet business objectives, seek advice and guidance on more complex issues.
- Understand the operational, technical and resources requirements of a task and assist in the coordination, delivery and reporting of that task

**Ideally, you will have**:

- Great at organising events and activities to support client families.
- good understanding of Defence lifestyle and requirements.
- Knowledge of the local community.
- Possess good verbal and written communication skill.
