Residential Supervisor

- **Position Summary**_

The Supervisor is instrumental in the provision of high-quality residential care and the position will actively lead, support, and supervise to a team of dedicated personal support workers who work on a rotating roster. The Supervisor will work with Managers to ensure the smooth operation of the facility, ensure support is delivered in line with support plans, and supervise the daily operations of the residential facility.

You will adopt a person-centred practice within the organisation which facilitates choice and control so our residents can achieve the goals and outcomes identified in a safe environment. You will encourage and monitor compliance with our policies and procedures by staff.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of Darebin Lodge, engaging with both staff and residents
- Provide support, mentoring and supervision to our personal support workers
- Build and maintain relationship with both internal and external stakeholders
- Encourage our residents to exercise their choice and control in line with their funding bodies
- **About you**_

We are searching for somebody who has the ability to lead and mentor a team of dedicated personal support workers. A driven individual with a passion for the disability sector and understands the importance of delivering high quality support to our residents.

**Required**
- Certificate IV Disability or similar
- A current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with children’s check
- NDIS worker orientation module
- Experience in the Disability Sector
- Flexibility to work various shifts throughout the week

**Preferred**
- Diploma of Disability or equivalent
- Drivers Licence
- Experience with leading a team
