An exciting opportunity to join a reputable organisation throughout Australia that has a local and international presence as their Global Supply Chain Manager has now opened up. This is a newly created position where you will play a pivotal role in optimising a pointed approach to supply chain operations within eCommerce/retail lifestyle sector. It is really an opportunity to take ownership and lead supply chain strategy and inventory across Local and International logistics. Please note this is both a strategic and hands-on role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement a global supply chain strategy to meet changing market dynamics and customer demands.
- Logistics and Distribution: Collaborate with logistics partners to establish efficient and eco-friendly transportation and distribution networks for timely product delivery.
- Supplier Management: Identify and onboard reliable suppliers who align with our client's principles, ensuring consistent product quality and timely delivery.
- Inventory Planning and Management: Optimise inventory levels and minimise stock-outs through effective cooperation with forecasting and inventory management teams.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve sustainability within the supply chain.
- Compliance and Ethics: Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards while promoting ethical sourcing and sustainable practices.
- Motivating Brand Communication: Develop uplifting messages that inspire customer engagement and leave a positive impression.
- Confidence in Quality: Showcase high-quality products and exceptional customer service to instil confidence in our brand.

**Qualifications and Skills**

**To be successful in this position you will have the following skill-set**:

- Proven experience in a similar role with a strong understanding of Supply Chain Management (both local and international
- NZ, China, Japan, USA highly desirable)
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including sourcing, production, logistics, and distribution
- Experience working with eCommerce/retailers
- Experience working for a lifestyle eCommerce/retailer (highly desirable)
- Experience managing 3PL and local freight
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders.
- Confident and self-assured, conveying conviction in all interactions and touchpoints.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on simplifying complex concepts and processes.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies that drive efficiency, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.
- Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and experience working to tight deadlines.
- Excellent team player and able to work collaboratively within a fast-moving environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred)
