**About the Role**:
Lecturers with substantive time fractions of 0.5 or less within Higher Education, Scholarship and Research are encouraged to apply. The additional time fraction is offered on an ongoing basis and may be a fraction of the available 0.5EFT

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Teach in the programs offered by the department in accordance with area of expertise.
- Pursue scholarship and research in both individual and team-based projects in line with the Institute’s high education strategies.
- Contribute to professional and community activities primarily related to the academic discipline of Tourism within the broader area of Foods, Tourism, Hospitality and Events, and maintain professional competency in the discipline.
- Participate in the Institute’s quality system, which is based on the Higher Education Standards Framework that encompasses the Australian Quality Framework (AQF), and requirements by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA).
