**About the role**

Join Mater Group as a Solutions Specialist (Diagnostic & Monitoring) in this full-time, 8-month max term contract based at Newstead.

**Salary range: $114,746 - $122,915 per annum** plus 11.5% superannuation and**access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900** +**access to many staff benefits

**What you’ll be doing**
- Provide professional and timely support for diagnostic and connected care system incidents
- Support medical device integrations and resolve integration issues
- Troubleshoot IT problems and escalate when necessary
- Monitor and optimise device interfaces for performance
- Collaborate with clinical users and informatics specialists
- Contribute to root cause analysis and suggest improvements
- Maintain system environments with updates and patches
- Liaise with ICT infrastructure team and stakeholders
- Lead small to medium-sized projects and upgrades
- Collaborate to reduce risks in interface implementation
- Contribute to solution design and implement fixes
- Support DTID initiatives and the Digital Strategy
- Provide leadership in problem management and incident response

**About you**
- Tertiary degree in Information Technology, highly desirable
- Membership as a Certified Health Informatician Australasia (CHIA), desirable
- ITIL Foundation 3 certification
- Education and/or training in information technology or system administration
- Familiarity with health industry standards, frameworks, and profiles such as FHIR, HL7, DICOM, IHE, and ISO
- Experience in a programming language, SQL, and/or web services, highly desirable
- Proven experience in IT systems project implementation
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to negotiate, advise, and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Excellent ability to manage multiple activities and priorities across organisational boundaries, ensuring customer-focused service delivery within agreed service levels
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
