We are an established Catering business based in Matraville looking for a Canteen Assistant to join our team of 10+ employees.

The job is 5 days per week for approximately 35-40 hours. You **must be available: Monday - Friday **from 6am to 2pm during the school term. I also have a position available for working fewer days each week.

We provide a School Lunch Delivery service to schools around Sydney and Corporate Catering to local businesses. We also operate a Cafe / Take Away business.

This position involves helping in a range of tasks required for food preparation, and organisation of lunch orders for school students. You will be working as part of a team, and will be trained on the job.

**Must have the following**:

- Previous experience as kitchen hand / all rounder in a commercial kitchen an advantage
- Good attitude, and eagerness to do a range of different tasks
- Must have permit to work in Australia + on the books, no working holiday makers as we are looking for long term staff

**Job Types**: Permanent, Casual

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus
- Christmas bonus
- Performance bonus
