**The opportunity**:
As a diver you will work amongst the aquarium team, your primary role will be to dive in the shark bay aquariums daily for the purpose of cleaning and maintaining the exhibits. You will also conduct tours for the public including snorkel tours and dive tours. Working amongst the aquarium team you may be required to assist the aquarist team with husbandry tasks including feeding, animal moves and rescues of marine animals.

**Your day to day**:

- Participating in all dive areas
- Providing assistance with dive, snorkel tours and animal adventure tours
- Maintenance and cleaning in animal pools and exhibits
- Support aquarist team with husbandry tasks as required

**What you’ll bring**:

- Must have a minimum of either ADAS Aquarist Diver, or Commercial Part
- Commercial diving medical certification (AS2299) essential
- Provide First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation essential
- Must have or be willing to get a recreational boat licence
- Knowledge of marine animals and their environment beneficial
- Must be physically fit with a high level of motivation and commitment
- Must be available to work on any day, including weekends
