**The School of Computer and Mathematical Sciences is seeking an outstanding individual, passionate about teaching, to support the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the rapidly growing Discipline of Computer Science. In this education-focused role, you will be responsible for the delivery of a range of courses at all levels of the Computer Science curriculum with an emphasis on cyber security, optimisation, data science and/or software engineering. You will join a large team of committed educators and researchers engaged in education, research and industry collaboration across a broad spectrum of computer science specialisations.**

**The position is available from 1**st** January 2024.**

**To be successful you will need**:
**Lecturer (Level B)**
- A PhD in Computer Science, Computer Science Education, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
- Ability to teach at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the fundamentals of Computer Science as well as in one or more of the specialisations of cyber security, optimisation, data science and/or software engineering.
- A commitment to the use of evidence-based pedagogies that promote student engagement.
- Experience in online and blended course development and delivery.
- A student-focussed approach to education.
- A record of success in delivering quality teaching at the tertiary level and responsibility as course coordinator.
- Commitment to the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion, and ability to contribute to the diversity of the School community

**Lecturer (Level A)**
- A PhD in Computer Science, Computer Science Education, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent qualifications and experience.
