We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Facilities Manager to join our team working with our major client - Placemangement NSW. Located at The Rocks, you will manage all the soft services for the harbourside precinct which includes more than 100 heritage buildings, unique venues, waterways and other high profile public domain areas.Reporting to the Associate Director, you will be fully supported by a diverse team of FM’s and as well as having two Facility Coordinators assist you.
- **Here’s a snapshot of your day;**
- Manage soft services including Cleaning, Horticulture, Security, Parking and Signage, Pest control, Handyman services, Water Features and playgrounds, footpaths and roadways.
- Manage operating expenditure and ensure efficient, sustainable and cost-effective maintenance and development of soft services within the precinct.
- Manage minor works and tenancy fit outs as required
- Carry out routine precinct inspections and document issues for action.

**Here are strengths you’ll possess and the background you’ll need to be successful;**
- Minimum of 3 year’s experience in an engineering or building facilities / management related discipline
- Engineering Degree or related preferred
- Engineering / Operations related Certification preferred
- Sound working knowledge all property onsite facilities services, not limited to essential fire safety measures, mechanical services, hydraulic and structural.
- Sound understanding of legislative requirements around facilities management services;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Strong time management and organisational skills with the flexibility to work autonomously across different sites.
