Lending Specialist Associate

The Lending Specialist Associate (LSA) is an important member of IOOF Finance Choice (Part of Insignia Financial) and is primarily responsible for providing consistent and high-quality pro-active support to clients, providing technical assistance to clients and Private Wealth Advisers (PWAs) and assisting new clients through the loan.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Enhance and encourage new and existing client relationships
- This advice needs to be provided in a profitable manner and could be prepared in conjunction with the Lending Specialist or with the support of other staff
- Maintain Data on Aggregator CRM system
- Conduct the centralised administration functions as directed, including client information and report preparation following the Electronic Loan Process
- Problem-solving in conjunction with the Lending Specialist to obtain best outcome for client when needed (i.e., when unforeseen circumstances occur)
- Establish and maintain rapport with clients and provide required support
- Provide consistent, high quality pro-active support to clients, Advisers and IOOF Finance Choice management
**To Be Successful in This Role You Will Possess**:
- Undertake ongoing Professional Development
- Experienced in using aggregator CRM systems and Electronic Loan Lodging Systems
- Actively seeking new business opportunities and developing new centres of influence
- Source of credit / lending information for other advisers and staff
- Accountable for targets aligned with key business drivers
- Accredited with Lenders on Aggregators Approved List
- Able to recognize all debt opportunity and refer to the
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years banking or mortgage broking experience
