**Primary objective**:
Constant involvement in the training program, through delivering customer service, demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary for designing, delivering and assessing training within a Registered Training Organisation within Australia.

OVERALL OBJECTIVES
- Delivering training and assessment practices based on OTC Validated assessment methods and processes
- Evaluating the outcome of training sessions and analysing trends
- Maintaining a current and accurate record of trainee progress and achievements
- Communicating the correct information and handling any questions from trainees
- Overseeing and monitoring training costs against budgets, ensuring the company’s resources are efficiently utilised
- Constantly representing good examples by demonstrating the skills that are being taught
- Consult and communicate with other trainers, managers and leadership
- High standards of professional conduct, always aligning work with the Code of Conduct

TECHNICAL OBJECTIVES
- Deliver training programmes, both internal and external to clients/employees in accordance with OTC strategies programmes
- Plan and prepare resources and support mechanisms for Training Programmes
- Conduct Training Needs Analysis for OTC/Clients as required
- Participate in planning, conducting and reviewing assessment practice and validation activities when required
- Meet the prescribed unit selection and assessment requirements for accredited training as determined by the relevant Training Package
- Assess learners against the relevant units of competency and determine the attainment of competence in accordance with the relevant Training Package requirements
- Critically examine the trainees’ understanding and progress, making necessary adjustments to the program
- Scheduling training sessions to minimise disruption to normal working
- Develop a schedule to assess training needs and conduct training through new materials
- Track and compile collective data
- Conduct employee surveys, interviews and instruct the onboarding process
- Communicate and demonstrate the use of online needs and online resources
- Monitor and track trainee performance and learning based on stated unit outcomes
- Coordinate and monitor enrolment, schedules, costs, and equipment
- Actively participate in validation activities associated with materials delivered and evidence collected
- Maintain learner records according to record keeping legislation and procedures
- Review training and assessment materials to ensure currency with industry requirements
- Update and record technical and training and assessment currency and competency logs

- Actively promote a HSE culture across the region and lead by example.
- Ensure that all personnel work safely and comply with Otraco procedures and legislative Requirements.
- Assist with the investigation of hazards, incidents and unsafe work conditions and equipment, and implement actions to eliminate or reduce risks to acceptable levels.
- Ensure that all procedures are communicated, understood and complied with by all personnel.
- Review and recommend improvements to existing procedures, to encourage the adoption of best practice and standardisation across all Otraco operations.
