**About the Company**

This NSW Government agency is a major service provider who strives to deliver a more consistent and efficient experience within government. This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government and providing services to NSW. We are looking for someone to start ASAP for a 5-month contract paying up to $816.78 p/d+ Super. This role is located in Parramatta with WFH flexibility.

**About the Role**

We are currently seeking to appoint a Regulatory Compliance Manager with a leading NSW Government agency. You will Lead the end-to-end process of the Department’s external regulatory compliance program.

**Key accountabilities include**:

- Provide the interface and first point of contact with Regulators regarding compliance based activities, ensuring that audits are scoped appropriately, requests for information are serviced, audit interviews are transparent and informative and responses to review findings and audit reports are timely and comprehensive. Manage an internal calendar of compliance activities to provide co-ordination of and access to internal resources and minimise duplication of activity.
- Maintain and continually improve compliance procedures and methods, including compliance reporting.
- Ensure systems and frameworks are current and are assessed to determine the effectiveness of implementation across the organisation.
- Manage and coordinate a full range of compliance management activities, including obligation mapping, identification of compliance related focus areas and reporting across the organisation.
- Provide accurate, insightful and timely reports on compliance management performance to facilitate sound understanding of the business’ overall exposure in relation to the organisation’s obligations.
- Monitor, evaluate and improve compliance management processes to improve capabilities and performance in the organisation meeting its regulatory requirements.
- Provide input into the corporate obligations register and regularly report on performance to management.
- Have in place systems and processes to ensure business-wide compliance with legal obligations and other requirements, relevant corporate policies, including monitoring and reporting on non-compliances and completion of corrective actions.
- Provide the Department with timely, accurate and commercially astute regulatory compliance advice.
- Represent the Department (where required) with regulators and government agencies during compliance/audit processes

**About You**
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
- Working experience in developing, implementing, monitoring and reporting on compliance programs to achieve optimum business outcomes including a culture-of-compliance and enhancement of reputation.
- Working experience in developing and implementing organisational wide compliance framework and facilitating programs, including compliance meetings and workshops.
- Experience integrating compliance management practices or consideration into BAU activities.
- Understanding of the machinery of government and regulatory body engagement.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory obligations into business requirements
