**Our Federal Government client is seeking to engage in multiple Fulltime APS4 Fraud Investigator Assistant for a 12 month assignment with potential extension in RICHMOND VIC.**

**About the Team** The Fraud Intelligence and Investigations Branch detects and responds to internal and external payment fraud against the Scheme. The branch focus is on protecting the Scheme’s financial sustainability, strengthening fraud control arrangements and supporting the Fraud Fusion Taskforce to strengthen the Commonwealth’s fraud detection and response capability.

**About the Role**

The role will be required to provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge in areas and may undertake some research and analysis activities.
The APS4 Investigation Assistant (Labour Hire) will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries.

**Key skills required for role/s**:

- Demonstrated intermediate skills in the Microsoft Office 365 suite of software products.

**Desirable skills to have for the role/s**:

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 Excel and Word software products.

**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Utilising a Certificate IV in Government (Investigation), or its equivalent, as set out in Public Services Training Package (PSP04) to support the progression of investigations for criminal prosecution.
- Working with other investigation assistants under the leadership and coordination of the National Technical Officer (NTO), providing consistent and reliable technical support across the full investigation function.
- Assessing information, analysing documents, data and other information, raising or referring issues, and providing appropriate support to investigators.
- Assisting in preventing inappropriate benefit payments by monitoring, reviewing, checking and reporting to support compliance and mitigate potential risk.
- Conducting telephone and face-to-face enquiries when for verifying information and data.
- Providing administrative support for the team and/or work area.
- Contributing to accurate and informative reports for investigation cases.
- Using a range of analytical tools and databases, collecting, collating and maintaining data records.

Maintaining accurate records of decisions and activities using business systems such as Excel, iBase and CRM based system products.

It is highly desirable that the successful applicant understand or lived experience in the field of disability.
