**Your new company**

Our client is a government body who is a leading institution in research for energy and medicine. They are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join their team and manage the organisations security governance and intelligence.

**Your new role**

As the Manager, Security Governance and Intelligence you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and security of the organisations operations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Develop and implement robust security policies, procedures, and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with national and international security standards.
- Monitor security risks, assess vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Foster a strong security culture across the organization.
- Collect, analyse, and disseminate intelligence related to safety and security.
- Stay abreast of emerging threats and trends in the industry.
- Collaborate with external agencies and partners to enhance the organisations security posture.
- Conduct risk assessments and provide actionable recommendations

- Proven experience in security governance, threat assessment
- Familiarity with relevant legislation and industry standards
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Leadership qualities to drive security initiatives and foster collaboration.
