Maintenance Officer

Bateau Bay, Australia Affordable Recruitment Services Full time

Affordable Recruitment Services are employing experienced Maintenance Officers to complete property and grounds maintenance tasks for our residential aged care client in Bateau Bay NSW.

**Your role would include**:

- General (basic) repairs around site including plaster repair, painting, basic plumbing and carpentry, moving furniture, high pressure cleaning, installing and repairing hardware
- Preventative Maintenance including booking in scheduled maintenance with contractors (ie. gutter cleaners, air conditioning service) or identifying work required by licenced electricians or plumbers.
- Grounds Maintenance including gardening, including mowing, weeding, leaf blowing, edging, plant care and other general grounds maintenance, as required
- Ensuring the site and equipment are maintained and well presented
- Identifying and reporting hazards and safety issues

**Essential to the position**:

- Experience in a similar role
- National Criminal History Check (Police Check) which is less than 3 years old
- Covid 19 Vaccination
