We are looking for a suitably qualified **Multiskilled Labourer - Street Sweeper Operator **to join the team. You will be responsible for the operation of Glenorchy City Councils Street Sweeper. In addition to this the employee will be required to effectively and efficiently undertake labouring, plant operation and maintenance works within the Municipality that meets with legislation, industry standards and GCC’s annual maintenance plans.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Experience in the operation of a street sweeper or the operation and maintenance of complex plant and equipment.
- Understanding and knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety and experience with Safe Operating Procedures (SOPS).
- Ability to work well within a team environment and to adapt to a changing environment.
- Sound literacy, communication, interpersonal and time management skills.

**Qualifications required**:

- Certificate III or higher in Civil Construction or experience in the construction industry.
- Current Medium Rigid Truck "MR" Class licence
- White Card
- Traffic Management Accreditation
- Chainsaw accreditation

**Position Hours**:Fixed Term 12 month contract, Full-Time, 76 hours fortnight.

**Salary range**:$60,264.80 to $63,380.92 plus superannuation
