**About the Role...**

We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic and administrative superstar with strong attention to detail to join our Support Services team on an ongoing basis as Team Assistant. This key role supports a team of Managers within the City Operations department to carry out their accountabilities, duties and responsibilities by providing them with a high level of administration and financial data support.

This role also supports our frontline service delivery by communicating with a range of stakeholders, residents, business and the like.

Some of your role accountabilities will include:

- Financial Administration Support - creation of purchase orders, workorders and receipting of invoices;
- Reporting & Data Analysis - developing and maintaining registers, regularly reporting on customer requests and other data collected on behalf of the department such as; procurement financials; and identifying trend data;
- Team Administration Support - providing a range of high-level administrative support from creating agendas and minutes, diary management; through to drafting correspondence on behalf of the team.

**About You...**

To be successful in this position you will be able to demonstrate a high level of administrative knowledge, skills and experience together with excellent time management skills. It is essential that you have initiative and can effectively work autonomously to plan and prioritise your own work to meet deadlines, often with competing demands in a fast moving operational service delivery environment.

In addition, you will possess:

- Demonstrated experience in developing registers and databases including ability to extract and develop reports.
- Demonstrated experience in procurement systems and processes, including ability to raise purchase orders and work orders using council's corporate software OneCouncil;
- Demonstrated high level computer literacy skills in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
- Demonstrated high level communication skills, both written and verbal; and
- Sound knowledge of administrative, budget and financial systems and processes;
