Aircraft Refueller

**The Role**
Due to the continued growth of our Defence contract, Ventia are looking to engage a qualified and experienced **Aircraft Refueller**. Reporting to the Refuelling Supervisor, you will support the safe and efficient refuelling and de-fuelling of the Defence fleet.

This position is a full-time permanent role and will see you working on a rotating and flexible roster at RAAF Base Pearce, Bullsbrook WA.

Whilst primarily at RAAF Base Pearce servicing a diverse range of aircraft, this role will also require you to travel to varies other Defence bases and locations. This may include RAAF Gingin, and infrequent travel to RAAF Learmonth, Albany airport and other Defence sites.

**Your duties will include but are not limited to**
- Daily vehicle inspections, including pre-start and final quality checks
- Conduct aircraft refuelling duties
- Refuelling tanker records and documentation are to be fully maintained
- Complete fuel farm operator level maintenance as required
- Conduct safety site inductions and observations
- Receive and direct any customer queries and/or complaints
- Transporting dangerous goods to service remote and rural sites

**Requirements**:

- Valid Australian driver's licence (_HC / Heavy Combination_) with safe driving history
- Bulk Dangerous Goods Licence or willingness to obtain
- Fuel Quality Control (_FQC_) qualification or willingness to obtain
- First Aid Certificate (Completed within last 12months) or willingness to obtain
- Willingness to undertake further training Interstate to satisfy client requirements
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screening) and police check
- Prior experience with a fuel servicing environment - _Not required but highly desirable_
- Flexibility is needed for extended shifts and availability for “Out of Hours" call out duties
- Ability to work within a team with excellent self-management skills to work at remote sites
