Sydney, Australia Inspect It FIRST Full time

Inspect It FIRST wishes to hire a Building Consultant for their property inspection business. This consultancy mainly provides Pre-Purchase Building & Pest Inspections and a mix of; New Home Stage Assessments, Commercial and Special Purpose inspections for clients looking to purchase or sell properties. The consultancy operates in the greater Sydney, Central Coast, Blue Mountains and South Coast regional areas. Inspect It FIRST, established 22 years ago, is a trusted and professional building consulting practice.

Inspect It FIRST is looking for a trade qualified person, preferably trained as a carpenter, who has 5 to 10 years experience in residential construction. This person will be someone who is looking to "get off the tools" and enter into the building consulting industry as an employee.

For the right person Inspect It FIRST will provide training to complete building inspections and write professional reports of their findings. After a qualifying period, timber pest inspection training will be provided to add the timber pest inspection skill set.

To attend properties to inspect buildings and surround areas to identify building defects, trades finishes, repairs and maintenance items. These issues will be electronically captured with photographs for the purpose of preparing a report of findings. Provide communication with interested parties to the inspection and to brief on findings as required.

**Salary**: $67.00 - $83.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- Certificate in Carpentry (required)
- Full Driver Licence (required)
