**ABOUT THE ROLE**

TAFE NSW are seeking suitably qualified and experienced Casual Teachers of Metal Fabrication and Welding to deliver across the South Region. Delivering face-to-face practical classes at either the Goulburn, Bega or Wollongong Campus, with some regional travel required to Nowra, Moss Vale and Yass.

This position is casual and the pay rate is $84.69 per hour. For full details about the position please review the Position Description and Information Pack.

**ABOUT YOU**

TAFE NSW focus on real-world practicality, by delivering interactive and industry relevant study that is present in the workplace. To ensure you have first-hand knowledge of everything you teach you must hold the relevant vocational education and have current experience in industry. This industry knowledge and understanding will ensure the training you deliver aligns with in-demand and priority areas.

If you hold a teaching qualification and can demonstrate high-level written communication skills and are interested in collaborating with a large team of industry experts by sharing your real-world industry insight, then these roles may offer you the next step in developing your career.

To be successful in this role you must:

- Hold the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or the TAE40110 qualification with the required additional upgrade units, or higher-level qualification in adult education.
- Have a minimum of three (3) years relevant and post-qualification experience in the metal fabrication and welding industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five (5) years previously. With the ability to understand the content of the learning materials and the processes used in the discipline.
