**About the role**
Fleetwood is on an exciting growth journey, and we now require an experienced Design Documenter. You will be working on projects across many states in a National Design and Estimating team. This role is responsible for producing high quality design documentation and coordinating projects to ensure delivery in line with project briefs.
**Key responsibilities will include**:
- Produce comprehensive design packages for speculative and live project works, in accordance with project brief.
- Coordinate with third party consultants and relevant authorities as required to obtain documentation in line with the project brief, including but not limited to building certification, client approval, and town planning.
- Ensure effective communication and project standards coordination with clients, internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake project administration processes for transmittals, submittals, design and construction models, shop drawings and schedules.
- Ensure documentation complies with specifications, building codes/ regulations, standards and legislation, and contract requirements.
- Working to drafting standards and provide peer review of documentation.
- Assist in identifying and communicating project related Revit content and families creation priorities for the BIM Coordinator.
- Undertake peer review of documentation.
- Comply with document control requirements and maintain good administration practices.
- Work collaboratively with team members and other relevant stakeholders.
- Other responsibilities, duties and activities as directed.
**The successful applicant will preferably have a trade background and will demonstrate**:
- 3+ years’ experience in professional design environment.
- Qualification in Architecture, Building Design or other relevant discipline.
- Working knowledge of design industry workflows, production cycle and priorities.
- Experience preparing accurate and clear drawing packages, from concept to construction.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a range of stakeholders, including clients, building surveyors, and third party consultants.
- Ability to identify, analyse and solve technical problems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency, and meet challenging work goals
- Able to take on additional responsibilities as needed, determine and manage priorities with mínimal guidance
- Strong working knowledge of Revit is essential.
- Proficient use of MS Word, Excel, Outlook is essential.
