Looking for an experienced Office Manager to join an NGO in Canberra City South.
**Your new company**
We are looking for an experienced Office Manager to join an NGO in Canberra south. This peak body provides support to their members and advocates to government on their behalf.
**Your new role**
As the Office Manager you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of the office. You will be responsible for overseeing administrative activities and providing support to the CEO. Your attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and ability to multitask will be essential in managing daily office tasks and fostering a productive work environment.
- Oversee and coordinate office operations and procedures, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
- Manage office supplies, equipment, and maintenance, ensuring availability and functionality.
- Maintain and improve office systems and procedures to enhance efficiency.
- Accounts payable and receivable
- Secretariat support
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for executives and staff members.
- Maintain office records and databases, including employee records, contracts, and vendor information.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanour.
**What you'll need to succeed**
Proven experience as an Office Manager or in a similar administrative role.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
