We are a small bar inside of a dynamic that features a 150-seat performance space, cabaret, music, theatre and _everything in between. _We are looking for a full-time Bar Supervisor who is hands on and will take our pop-up bar operation to the next level in the heart of Newtown.

The Bar Supervisor should have extensive and creative cocktail experience and able to develop and manage our cocktail beverage list.

This role will take accountability for the management and training of staff, stock control, creative development and all things bar related.

You will need to be full of energy, adaptable, charismatic, and full of cocktail knowledge.

**Requirements**:

- Established bar management or head bartender experience
- The overall operations of the business whilst of shift
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails
- Creativity in creating own signature cocktails
- A high level of customer service
- Proven organisational skills with high attention to details
- Excellent communication skills
- Leading and managing a team
- Regular coaching, training, and mentoring of staff to improve them and service standards
- Cost control with a focus on labour
- Ensuring the team is delivering excellent customer service
- Adherence and reporting to compliance and legislative matters
- Continuous improvement in operations and service

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Staff management
- Staff beverage training
- Customer service
- Responsible for stock ordering
- Maintaining a modern and relevant beverage list
- Keeping all beverage costs within the desired targets
- Be a brand ambassador by demonstrating genuine passion for the business
- Report directly to the Venue Manager and General Management
- Strong leadership skills
- An ability to think outside the square
- Proven experience working in a small but multi-faceted business
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Knowledge of current liquor legislation
- Hands on approach with a natural ability to lead a team to be the best they can
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts including evenings and weekends

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
