About usTranslink, as a division of TMR, has statewide responsibility for bus, train, tram, and ferry services across South East Queensland, bus services in regional Queensland, as well as school transport, demand responsive transport, taxi and personalised transport regulation, and long distance coach, rail, and regional aviation services. We partner with a range of Queensland service providers and government agencies to deliver high-quality public transport services, ticketing, information, and infrastructure.Key responsibilitiesThe purpose of the role of Manager (Ticketing Product) is to lead a team of passionate professionals in the strategic and operational delivery of ticketing products, policies, and retail channel management activities across Queensland's public transport networks. This is a dynamic role where you will be able to strongly influence and contribute towards improving the customer experience, whiledelivering innovative commercial outcomes.Some of your responsibilities will include: - Leading the delivery and lifecycle management of ticketing products and pricing strategies that drive key business outcomes with a focus on increased patronage and improved customer satisfaction. Managing and maintaining Translink's statewide fare, zone, and ticketing policies
- ensuring operational effectiveness, efficiencies, and compliance with legislative and regulatory frameworks while aligning with customer and stakeholder needs. Leading the strategic delivery and operational management of Translink's retail and distribution channels to maximise accessibility and convenience for customers while balancing costs for TMR. Work collaboratively across a range of internal and external stakeholders, including ticketing vendors and service delivery partners, to support operations and continuous improvement. Leading an empowered, skilled, and high-performing team by fostering a positive culture that aligns with TMRs values - building capability by appraising and developing staff, managing change, and ensuring ethical behaviour and decision making.About youWe recognise and celebrate that everyone is unique and seek the applicant best suited to the role. Requirements of the role
- Experience developing or implementing customer-focused product, pricing, or retail channel strategies, supported by strong commercial and business acumen. Demonstrated skills in managing and leading high performing teams in large complex organisations. Strong working knowledge of project management and delivery, with ability to think critically and lead a team in determining work priorities.
