What you’ll contribute to

This role is based in Altona North and is a Max Term position until December 2025

How you’ll make an impact- Support the implementation of commodity strategies consistent with set policies to achieve supplier selection objectives with respect to customer centricity, quality, cost, sustainability and compliance.- Support the assessment and selection of suppliers in-line with agreed commodity strategies via formal RFQ/tender process to secure timely delivery of goods or services at expected quality and at optimal cost.- Assist in continuous improvement and standardisation of procurement processes and procedures in order to optimise the end-to-end procurement process, and ensure changes are documented accurately.- Coordinate and liaise with internal stakeholders and suppliers to resolve queries & issues and ensure key business activities are aligned and clearly communicated- Contribute to corporate profitability through: supplier management to ensure parts suppliers maintain and improve expected performance levels including identification and implementation of cost reduction initiatives.

Your attributes -If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you- Secondary school and degree qualification.- Experience working in a team environment- Sound logical and analytical skills- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills- Strong PC skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)- Understanding of purchasing processes desirable
